Who’s been in the studio?
We’ve had some super fun sessions to kick off 2025! First let’s talk about the fact that we had a chinchilla!! This guy’s name is Furby and he is the beloved pet of Sam and Dominik from Refill Vintage in West Hartford. Check out his pics below and some behind -the-scenes on Instagram! Can’t wait to see him up on the wall in their store - go check them out!
We had a wonderful session with Olive. Having rescued her as a tiny puppy, her mom was certain she’d be a nervous wreck - but she surprised us all by being a complete natural in front of the camera! It’s always impossible to know how dogs will react but we’re ready for everything - we’ve seen it all! Here are some of Olive’s portraits which are being printed in a montage frame and a custom album. Check out her behind-the-scenes on Instagram.
Prince was our first session of the year at our West Hartford studio. He is a wonderful that showed us he was uncomfortable with the flashing lights. So we quickly switched to my alternate set of lights which don’t flash and don’t make any sound. Once we made that switch - he forgot all about being nervous and was happy to be spoiled with treats
Our most recent session was in our new Norwalk Studio! We had 2 wonderful Golden Retrievers that were a bundle of fun. Freddie was brave and willing while Ryder needed some coaxing and some calming energy. Many clients are worried about how their dog will behave but we are experts and know how to work with dogs and cats of all kinds! The approach always depends on the particular animal, but we always find a way to either calm them down or help them get over their nerves. I’m still working on the images from this session and can’t wait to see these 2 images framed!
