Pet Photos of Murphy and Kellogg

I recently had the pleasure of working with a wonderful couple, Maria and her husband. I met them at a local dog-friendly event called Walk ‘n Wag in Glastonbury, CT. They saw the portraits I had on display there and were immediately interested in setting up a free consultation for their two dogs, Murphy and Kellogg.

Murphy and Kellogg are quite different from each other. Murphy is a calm and well-behaved dog, while Kellogg is full of energy and always ready to jump for joy. This meant I had to adapt my approach to suit each dog's personality during the photo session.

During the session, we captured a variety of adorable images of both Murphy and Kellogg. Maria and her husband also wanted to be included in some of the photos, as they wanted to have a portrait with their dogs. These images would be perfect for their holiday cards.

When Maria and her husband came back to view the photos, they were absolutely thrilled with the results. Maria had even sent me a picture of the wall where they planned to hang the photos, so I was able to create mockups that showed the best image selections, sizes, and frame types. They fell in love with the mockups immediately.

But it didn't stop there. Maria and her husband decided they had another wall that needed some artwork as well. I created a collection of three images that could be displayed side by side, and they loved that idea too. Maria also chose a special image of just her and Murphy, which she purchased as a fine art print for herself.

Working with Maria and her husband was an absolute joy. They were so much fun and I can't wait to see their beautiful artwork on their walls. I will even be personally delivering the prints and helping them hang them up.

As a pet photographer, it's always a pleasure to capture these special moments for pet parents like Maria, who truly adore their furry family members. Seeing their joy and excitement when they see their photos is what makes this job so rewarding.

My client purchased this image as a large, gorgeous 16x20 Framed Canvas

Maria had a larger wall that she wanted to use for the image of them with the pups. I recommended they do this layout with the 3 images and the Red/Black - which they loved! These will be framed as 11x14 Framed Canvases
